Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

What is the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)?

The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is a mandatory online pre-arrival registration system introduced by the Malaysian Immigration Department for all foreign nationals entering Malaysia. It replaces the traditional paper-based arrival card that was previously completed inside the aircraft before landing.

Every visitor to Malaysia — regardless of nationality, visa type, or purpose of visit — must complete the MDAC online within 3 days before their scheduled arrival date. This is a separate requirement from your eVisa and must be completed even if you hold a Malaysian visa or Resident Pass.

Important: Failure to complete the MDAC before boarding may result in denial of boarding by your airline or denial of entry by Malaysian immigration officers upon arrival.

Completely Free

The Malaysian government does not charge any fee for completing the MDAC. Our service fee covers our assistance with the process.

Replaces Paper Arrival Card

The MDAC replaces the traditional paper arrival card that was previously handed out on flights to Malaysia. No paper form is needed anymore.

Data Goes to Immigration

The information you submit via MDAC is sent directly to the Malaysian Immigration Department to pre-clear your arrival at the port of entry.

Non-Compliance Consequences

Failure to complete MDAC before boarding may result in denial of boarding by your airline or refusal of entry by Malaysian immigration at the border.

One MDAC Per Trip

Each trip to Malaysia requires a fresh MDAC submission. Your previous MDAC from a past visit cannot be reused for a new trip.

If you fail to complete the MDAC before your flight, your airline may refuse to check you in, or you may be denied entry upon arrival in Malaysia. It is essential to complete the MDAC before reaching the airport to avoid disruptions to your travel.
