Frequently Asked Questions
The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is a mandatory pre-arrival digital registration system introduced by the Malaysian government. It replaces the traditional paper disembarkation card and must be completed by all international travellers before entering Malaysia, regardless of visa type or nationality.
MDAC registration must be completed within 3 days before your scheduled arrival in Malaysia. We recommend registering at least 48–72 hours in advance to allow sufficient processing time and to avoid any delays at immigration.
Your MDAC card reference number (starting with MYDAC) is sent to your registered email address immediately after you complete the registration and payment. Please check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot locate the email, contact our support team with your full name and travel details.
We strongly recommend carrying a printed copy of your MDAC. While some entry points may accept a digital version on your phone, certain airports and border crossings in Malaysia require a physical printout. To avoid any risk of delays, bring both a printed copy and have a digital backup saved on your device.
No. Each traveller — including infants and children — must have their own individual Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC). The arrival declaration is tied directly to an individual's passport and is not transferable or shareable between travellers.
If your MDAC is rejected, please contact our support team immediately with your reference number. Our agents will review the reason for rejection and guide you through the reapplication process. Common causes include passport detail mismatches, incorrect arrival dates, or incomplete information.
