Citizens of all ASEAN member countries — including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and others — generally enjoy visa-free access to Malaysia. Most nationals from Western Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan also do not need a visa for stays up to 30, 60, or 90 days depending on the bilateral agreement in place.
